Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how favchick ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information about visitors to favchick.com. By using the site, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and the source of your subscription (e.g., which page you signed up from). We do not collect your name unless you voluntarily provide it.

Information collected automatically

When you visit favchick.com, our servers automatically collect:

  • Pages you visit and how long you spend on them
  • The referring URL (how you arrived on the site)
  • Your device type, browser, and operating system (general — we do not fingerprint devices)
  • A hashed (anonymised) version of your IP address for analytics purposes — we do not store raw IP addresses
  • Affiliate link clicks — which links you click and when (used to count click-throughs; not linked to your identity)

2. How we use your information

  • Newsletter — to send you content you subscribed for. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
  • Analytics — to understand which content is useful so we can make more of it. We use aggregated, anonymised data only.
  • Affiliate tracking — to count click-throughs and ensure affiliate commissions are attributed correctly. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual users.

3. Cookies we use

We use a small number of cookies, grouped into three categories. Essential cookies are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies only load if you grant consent via the cookie banner. You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

4. Third parties

We share data with the following third-party services:

  • Supabase — our database and file storage provider. Your email address (if subscribed) is stored here.
  • Vercel — our hosting provider. Processes request logs.
  • Affiliate networks — click data is shared with the relevant network to enable commission tracking.

We do not sell your data to any third party.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data (right to erasure)
  • Unsubscribe from email communications at any time
  • Correct inaccurate data

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@favchick.com. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Data retention

Newsletter subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe. Anonymised analytics data is retained for up to 24 months.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised "last updated" date.
